Aston Martin Valen Revealed as 850PS Limited-Production V12 Special
Aston Martin has unveiled the Valen, an ultra-limited V12 special developed by its Q by Aston Martin bespoke division. Revealed in Monterey, California, the new model takes the brand’s front-engined performance formula further with increased power, extensive weight reduction and heavily revised chassis technology.
Production will be limited to just 150 cars worldwide, with first customer deliveries scheduled for the second quarter of 2027.
850PS Twin-Turbo V12
The Valen is powered by Aston Martin’s 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12, producing 850PS and 1,000Nm of torque.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission with revised shift strategies influenced by Aston Martin’s motorsport development.
The Valen can accelerate from 0–60 mph in 3.0 seconds, while its top speed is electronically limited to 214 mph (344 km/h).
Up to 110kg Lighter
Weight reduction is a major part of the Valen’s engineering package. Aston Martin has reduced weight by up to 110kg compared with its core V12 platform through extensive use of carbon fibre, aluminium, titanium and magnesium.
An optional lightweight package removes another 16.9kg, while lightweight magnesium wheels come as standard to reduce unsprung mass and improve steering response.
Built Around Driver Engagement
The Valen has been developed with a stronger focus on driver involvement rather than simply adding more engine performance.
It features Sport, Sport+ and Track driving modes, each offering different powertrain, throttle and chassis characteristics.
The suspension uses model-specific springs, helper springs and Bilstein DTX semi-active dampers, while a solid-mounted rear subframe is designed to deliver sharper responses.
Aston Martin has also revised the steering, braking, ESP and suspension calibration to create a more agile driving experience without compromising everyday usability.
Carbon-Ceramic Brakes and Performance Tyres
Stopping power comes from 410mm front and 360mm rear carbon-ceramic brakes, supported by a revised braking system designed to provide a precise pedal response.
The Valen rides on specially developed Pirelli P Zero R tyres, with P Zero Winter 2 tyres available as an option.
Pirelli’s Cyber Tyre technology is also integrated into the vehicle, allowing tyre information to be shared with the car’s electronic control systems.
A New V12 Soundtrack
A bespoke titanium exhaust system has been developed for the Valen to reduce weight while delivering a more intense V12 soundtrack.
The quad-exit system uses two upper and two lower outlets, with the lower outlets controlled by valves according to the selected driving mode.
Aston Martin has tuned the exhaust to emphasize the higher-frequency character of the V12 as the engine approaches its upper rev range.
Dramatic New Design
The Valen introduces a more aggressive interpretation of Aston Martin’s front-engined sports-car proportions.
The front features slim recessed headlights, a sharply sculpted bonnet, a larger geometric grille and an angular splitter. Functional side vents run along the body, while pronounced rear haunches emphasize its front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout.
At the rear, the conventional rear window and boot arrangement has been replaced by a solid tailgate with an integrated aerodynamic upper section.
A full-width light bar and raised rear structure help generate downforce without relying on a large conventional rear wing.
Customers can also specify a full carbon-fibre body, including an exposed carbon finish.
Bespoke Interior
Inside, the Valen features a more driver-focused cabin with a slim centre console angled towards the driver.
The interior incorporates 3D-printed components and technology previously introduced on the Valhalla.
Customers can choose between Sports Plus seats for a balance of support and comfort or lightweight carbon-fibre performance seats for a more focused driving experience.
Q by Aston Martin provides extensive personalization options covering leather, Alcantara, trim and colour combinations.

The Valen name is derived from the Latin word valens, associated with strength and power, while continuing Aston Martin’s tradition of distinctive V-named special models.
With only 150 examples planned, the Valen will sit among Aston Martin’s most exclusive modern V12 creations.
Combining an 850PS twin-turbo V12, extensive lightweight engineering, bespoke aerodynamics and revised chassis technology, the Valen represents one of Aston Martin’s most extreme limited-production road cars.
